I'm going to agree with you on that , i think the jaw might be part of the problem too. I have been having a heck of a time getting him just so and his eyes are really going to be an issue. Like you said he has that gentle manner but then he has that you really don't want to see me angry attitude thing going on as well. I'll be working on a new and improved Hakkai which will hopefully be up soon.

Well I have to say my art is not meant to be anime like =). It's my own personal linterpretation of what the Saiyuki characters would look like in a semi realistic manner. But then art is just like anything each person has their own views of what they like and don't like. But no it's not meant to be an elf either =)

Thanks for the comment =) ... i like how his eyes turned out too. Gojyo just strikes me as the ultimate sexy guy , and I can just picture him with that sexy little smirk and slight squint of the eye when he's making a move on someone lol.

I have to agree with you about the sad eyes. I always picture him as being sort of sad and lonesome all the time even when he's around the others. Even when i've read the manga there are very few times you ever see him with a real smile. ( at the moment i can only think of one time )And even then his eyes don't seem happy to me.
